Affinity purification

The affinity purification can be performed on any serum sample you like, though it is usually done on part of the production lot. It contains these three steps:

· IgG purification
· Production of a custom peptide affinity column
· Peptide affinity purification

The phospho-specific antibody package includes a second affinity column and further purification steps, which are necessary in order to obtain antibodies specific to the phosphorylated peptide.
